What’s AcuYoga?

It’s a 90 minute class that combines both yoga and acupuncture for deep relaxation.

The class starts with 50 minutes of restorative yoga taught by Sandy, then transitions into an extended 30-minute savasana (laying on your back comfortably).

During this extended savasana, I give each person 5 acupuncture points while they rest. The points are for sleep, relaxation, and stress relief.

Most people fall asleep during the savasana and wake up feeling deeply rested.

Both acupuncture and yoga have been shown to help move the body from the “fight or flight” nervous system state into “rest and digest.” The combination of both yoga and acupuncture is incredibly relaxing.

What’s the Gua Sha Workshop?

Learn how to get glowing skin with gua sha, a Chinese beauty tool typically carved out of jade, obsidian, rose quartz, or amethyst.

In this hands-on workshop, cosmetic acupuncturist, Michelle Grasek, will walk you through how to use a gua sha stone to massage your face in order to:

  • – Reduce fine lines
  • – Reduce facial puffiness
  • – Sculpt your natural features
  • – Improve circulation
  • – Get a well-rested glow

Cost and What’s Included in the Gua Sha Workshop:

$45/person. Included is everything you need to participate in the workshop: Obsidian Gua Sha stone designed by local business owner, Amy Tao of Based Wellness ($31 value) and mini serum sample.
